Hi all, Thanks so much for your hard work in getting the rink back open. We couldn't have done it without you. We hope you are enjoying some quality time on the ice with friends and family. The rink needs your help in telling our story and helping Nazareth (the rink operator) win funding for necessary improvements. Every year, the Kraft Hockeyville contest donates $150K to US rinks for upgrades. We think that we have a compelling story given the way in which our community rallied over the past five years to get the rink back open. The rink would greatly benefit from some upgrades, including increased stadium seating, new floors, improved lighting, and solar panels. Please take a few minutes to tell Kraft about our hockey community and what the rink means to you. (Note, Kraft is focusing on the hockey community so please concentrate your response on hockey where possible.) This is where you demonstrate the strength of our hockey community and why we deserve recognition/funding. For the question on rink upgrades, mention stadium seating, new flooring, LED lighting, and solar panels. Please limit each response to 1,000 characters. - Add a photo and/or video (3 points per photo/video) - React to others' submissions for the San Mateo rink (1 point each time you select a reaction emoji on others' submissions; go to the Gallery section and search "Oasis"). - Share via Twitter (5 points). Use the Share Rally Page link on our rink site. - Add a note to the community note board (1 point). All of these points will help determine the winner of the funds.
