Conserve the land on the Poitras Property, west of Jim Branch Creek, by creating a nature preserve for the public's use.  The Lake Nona area is developing rapidly and saving some natural upland habitat would have far reaching benefits, including to our health and wellbeing.  This pristine pine flatwoods would be a wonderful place for hiking/bike trails, bird watching, and just enjoying nature with our families. 

We can petition our city council to save this land for the enjoyment of the public rather than more commercial/housing and road development.
