Have you written to the Mayor and City Council and asked for change?

The current leadership of the Torpedo Factory does not have the confidence of the artist community. They have tried to put a positive spin on the misguided and unneeded reforms to the art center, including the outrageous plan to redo the first floor. They are responsible for the disastrous re-jury process that caused many good artists - NEEDLESSLY - to lose their studio spaces.

This situation is no longer working. I urge all supporters of the arts in Alexandria: contact the Mayor and City Council and ask for CHANGE in the leadership of the Office of the Arts!
