From the bottom of our hearts : thank you all for your overwhelming support, advice, kind words of encouragement and warm wishes for my little girl Anaya and our beloved Maya.
Thanks to the signature of Megafangirl Spn - congratulations and thank you ! - together we have now reached the cap of 1000 requests to bring back Maya in 1 week time.

Some people have also contacted the police and Dienst Dierenwelzijn to ask them to finally take their responsibility and bring back Maya. This is perfectly possible based on the Belgian animal welfare legislation, which is not enforced in Belgium, and regardless of the appeal of Maya's thieves before the criminal High Court that starts on October 28th.
The response of the police is a top priority investigation for ... slaunder. Indeed, instead of bringing back our stolen Maya or instead of investigating her long term abuse, the priority of the police seems to be to put an end to this petition and to prevent people from knowing that both national and European legislation regarding animal welfare and regarding identification and registration of dogs are not applied nor enforced in Belgium and in reality, dog owners have NO PROTECTION whatsoever when their dog gets stolen, not even when they have all owernship documentation and not even when the dog's thieves are identified.
We will not be intimidated, we will not remain silent when our Maya is being sacrificed to protect the reputation of dogID that leaks like a basket, we will not give up doing everything we can to bring our Maya home and we will continue to publish the FACTS and their written proof on the website www.gestolenhond.be - until we have our Maya back.
