We're not sure what is going on, but we're sure you probably find out these flyers all over different trails on Maui. When we spoke with a couple of DLNR guys, they told us it's a new type of activity coming from the Na Ala Hele Trail division, but they were not sure why they're posting this survey in public.

We're guessing DLNR would like to ban electric bikes and bicycles from all trails on Maui. We cannot let that happen. Please click below on their website and let them know it doesn't make any sense to prevent the old generation of riders that can benefit from electric - clean, quiet, ecological, and environmentally friendly powered bikes.
