Since 2010 the government has cut 532 police officers and 104 police community support officers from Kent. Residents in Dover now feel vulnerable without adequate levels of policing in the town centre.

We call for the Police Crime Commissioner, Matthew Scott, to fund a new “beat bobby” police officer based in Dover town centre, to bring back a visible police presence to the town centre.
