YouTube video of New Doll Puts Rumor of Photoshopped Images to Rest

Yesterday, American Girl was flooded with posts of a doll from Florida that had an unusual shape to its tush. American Girl's social media group worked tirelessly to take down the photos and call them a "photoshopped" miss-representarion of the doll. Many of fans, including myself, were taken by their assurance the photos were a hoax until this morning when a You Tube video began circulating of the same doll TM 55. https://youtu.be/m0nYhlGTxQc While the author of the video does not speak nor give a delivery date for the doll, it seems to mirror the design American Girl shared with us last week. Since the posts begane, several seamstresses pointed out that the current body design has a dart (aka tuck) that keeps the tush of the doll flat. The new design is a round curve like an old fashion teddy bears' face. This curve would naturally allow for the stuffing to move out of shape over time like we see in the video. Fans will not know for sure if this video is a hoax or a real doll until the New York Toy Fair on 2/17/2017. Mattel is scheduled to be in attendance at the fair. Please continue to share this petition with your friends and family. Post it to Instagram, Twitter, etc, and add #toyfair2017 for greater visibility. Thank you for all of your support and patience.
