Mattel wrote a letter in response

Hi everyone, First of all, thank you for your support in signing our petition. We have an update for you! Mattel's VP of Corporate Social Responsibility responded to us with a written letter. Within, Mattel denies many of CLW's findings of ongoing and widespread labor exploitation in Mattel toy factories. Unfortunately, Mattel decided not to respond publicly to CLW--the letter was sent with a confidentiality stipulation. Despite that, CLW has responded publicly to CLW. In our reply, we note that Mattel's letter is misleading and avoids many of the key violations we uncovered. In the end, Mattel continues refusing to give workers making Mattel toys legal and fair working conditions.
