A quick update:

• I haven't heard back from any of the politicians I contacted (two local LibDem councillors, Sadiq Khan's office and Matt Hancock).
• Meanwhile, the BBC reported that there was also an attack in London on 24 February: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-51736755

As it's 10 March today and the numbers of infection have taken over the world, I hope that this means that these initial discriminatory responses have ceased now. Fingers crossed!
