Many of us travel abroad these days for both business and pleasure. Matrix operates what seems like a convenient phone system that will allow you to start using your phone the moment you land in a foreign country. Only all the odds are stacked against you. They swipe your credit card before giving you a Matrix Sim card . After which you have no control on how much they bill you and payment of these bills, since it is debited to you card without even checking with you. They slam you with hugely inflated bills and when asked to provide details of calls from the partner network, they refuse to do so. All they need to do is to be transparent and provide an sms service that tells you how much each call you have made costs. But they refuse to do so. The odds are stacked against the customer and the handling of disputes is shoddy . Many instances of people being ripped off. I have recently had a very bad experience.
