In all honesty a writer should be allowed to make any type of ending as they please for any anime. But when it comes to the viewers they also have to be considerate on what would be best. In this case kishimoto has angered many over making an ending that degraded women by having two main women protagonist degrade themselves into revolving themselves over two men, one was setting her life and morals around one guy not given any other thinking and the other going back to loving to an abuser. This is by far sexist and it will not be overlooked. Either the ending be change into a more reasonable ending or add more to the series before ending it completely to give Naruto and Hinata justice.
