Thank you so much for signing this petition to get Maryland classrooms open, at least on a hybrid model, in the Spring. You are playing a critical role in protecting our kids from further devastation resulting from 100 percent virtual learning.
The petition has been updated to simplify the steps we want Maryland's elected leaders to take. Instead of a long list of stipulations, we're asking in a more broad way for our elected officials to act. This we believe, will make it easier for them to impress upon districts the importance of reopening and compel them to do so. The details are for the districts to work out. Our bottom line is to get schools to open as soon as possible and to give schools whatever money and other support they need to do so.
