A Message from Barb Krupiarz: All - The lobbyist for the Maryland Association of Board of Education has convinced our legislators that the entire legal system will be turned on its head if they pass the burden of proof on schools bill. He has also stated that since there are only about 20 due process hearings per year and 90,000 students on IEPs, that everyone must be happy. So, we have been told that the Senate wants to do something, but the chair of the Education, Health and Environmental Affairs Committee wants to hear stories from parents about their struggles with schools.
