Raising money by raising taxes on cigarettes will cause more to either quit or switch to vaping. This means the tax will not be effective enough to make the difference they want it to. Raising the gasoline tax will encourage people that can drive less to do so and will punish those that cannot drive less. Raising GPT after year 2 is good, but that is when they wells are at their lowest production. Raise it across the board to get any sort of goodness. Figure it our Oklahoma.
