At Begging for Education, in our address to Gov. Fallin, we will be providing a plan that we believe is fair compensation and an adequate health benefits package. The cost to provide benefits for spouse and children is prohibitive compared to salaries. Our plan will not only address educator salaries but also medical, dental and vision benefits as well. We will not go blindly into action without a plan to produce results. We will give our legislation the opportunity to address concerns across the state of Oklahoma. Educators will not accept inaction. Oklahoma must rise to the occasion and listen to educators.
