Wow, I am blown away by the support!  1,125 signatures so far in favor of leaving Kirk Hill's magnificent old growth standing. Thanks to all who have signed this petition and forwarded it and donated to boost it.

My goal is 2,000 signatures before I send it to the Forest Supervisor Mary Erickson. We are more than half way there!

And if you are in the area, and have not been up to see Kirk Hill's gorgeous forest, please take the walk if you are able. Walk up the MSU Kirk Hill loops to the top and keep going on the national forest trail for about 1/2 mile. The trail forks, take a left. If you feel ambitious keep going up the steep part to see more beautiful forest and great views.
