In the early 2000's, good superhero movies were a rarity. Then Sam Raimi's Spider-Man came out, and took the world by storm. Actor Tobey Maguire truly nailed the nerdy heart of the role in a way no one has been able to since and continued to do so in the second film. Thanks to this man, superhero features are now some of the biggest films in Hollywood. Tobey was at the height of his game! But then, tragedy struck. The third Spider-Man film released to a lukewarm reception, and Tobey's reputation was soured. Since then, he just hasn't been able to reach the same heights in his career.

We can change this. Tom Holland is on record saying that he wants Tobey to appear as the beloved Uncle Ben in the newest entry to the franchise. If we succeed in accomplishing this, Tobey may be given another chance to showcase his dramatic acting skills in what could potentially become the saddest scene in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date.
