Good Morning everyone.

By all, you all know that Marsha passed away last Wednesday, September 7th. She went quietly into the night in her home in Sherman Oaks. The home that she has owned since 1946.

I was able to get obits into all the big newspapers. The Washington Post and the New York Times ran their obit this past Sunday.  The only paper that hasn't put the obit in print form is the Los Angeles Times!  It was supposed to go in today -but i think it got bumped out because of Emmy coverage. Not very classy of them. They should have printed it on Sunday, they had the obit in hand... oh well.

My sincere apologies for not writing after the Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients were named.  I guess I was in shock that they awarded the Medal to Simone Biles but not to Marsha!

We gave it our best shot.  THANK YOU for supporting the cause.  And you never know, perhaps we can get the medal for her posthumously.

There's been a wonderful outpouring of love for Marsha since her passing.  I am SO encouraged by the uptick in sales for DVD & Blu-Rays of "Marsha Hunt's Sweet Adversity".  Many have watched the film on streaming (PlutoTV, TubiTV You Tube Movies, IMDBTV)

Also, the documentary will  be rebroadcast on TCM on Thursday October 13th at 10PM PST and 1 AM EST  on Friday October 14th- as part of a 75th anniversary Blacklist tribute.

In closing, check out the photo I took at Marsha's home a few days after she passed.  I had prayed for a "sign"- and BOY did I get one!

Just so you know, this is NOT the end. I have been SO inspired by Marsha's activism and I plan to continue her legacy of helping the voiceless.  More about this at a later date.

Again, thank you for your heartfelt support. Let's all KEEP GOING - in honor of Marsha Hunt...

take care,

Roger
