Hey everyone,

Yesterday, I went to LA and delivered 65,000 of your signatures to Maroon 5's agency — WME.

How it happened:

At 1 pm, we arrived outside WME's office to let everyone know about our petition and why it's important for Maroon 5 to not perform. I also explained why Kaepernick took a knee (to protest the killing of unarmed people of color by the hands of police), and how the NFL has exiled him for his protest.

We left the signatures at WME addressed to the band’s agent, and we’re hoping they reach Maroon 5 directly.

Reaction:

Major positivity was in the air. Many people came to us and asked how to sign the petition. The support was definitely there. Even one of WME's security guards supported the cause (security didn't give us any trouble at all)!

In addition, Getty Images showed up to take some pics. Hopefully we’ll see those very soon.

Next steps:

It's time for Maroon 5 to speak out and make a decision. Please continue to share this petition with your friends and let's get even more signatures to show Maroon 5 how serious we are.
