Breaking: California Assembly Bill 1140 (AB-1140) news

Your voice has been heard. For now...

Mark Stone’s office has sent an email stating that California Assembly Bill 1140 (AB-1140) has been shelved for this legislative session. While there is no guarantee that the bill is dead for good, this is positive news for CRTPs and tax professionals everywhere. 

We appreciate all who rallied around this cause and brought about a great outcome. We will be following this issue closely if we need to restart our Change.org campaign.
