Some hard questions need to be asked in what turned out to be a disastrous rescue attempt of the Endangered Humpback Whale off the shores of Moriches Bay, Long Island. Why did it take Federal Authorities 4 1/2 days to come to the whale only to euthanize it. What efforts could have been to expedite this process and what is Federal protocol for Beach Whales along our country's shores.
