As Seniors of Heritage High School and members of the FISD community we believe that "Integrity is essential" (FISD Mission Statement) therefore the past promises and guarantees made by our administration and leaders must be fulfilled.

Furthermore, we believe that the selection of individual schools for graduation at The Dallas Star Center creates an unequal environment for schools within FISD. The Heritage Senior Class of 2017 proposes that all schools shall be allowed to graduate at The Dallas Star Center.

It is paramount in a growing school district that every school is treated equally and given the same opportunities. This facility was created with the promise and reassurance from the Administration of Heritage and FISD that all or none of the senior classes of 2017 will be conducting their graduation ceremony at The Dallas Star.

As an organization built on the idea that "Everyone has equal inherent worth and deserves to be treated with respect and dignity." (FISD Mission Statement) it is paramount that all Senior Classes be treated with "equal inherent worth" through undergoing their graduation ceremony at a facility of equal quality, service and size.
