Thank you for signing the petition: Stop NCAA athletic programs from being cut during pandemic. 

Over 800 people like yourself believe that all college sports programs bring immeasurable short and long term value to the mission of higher education.

"The requirements the conference commissioners asked for relief from hint at the fiscal peril of schools and leagues outside college athletics’ so-called Power Five. The most relevant among them is relief from the minimum number of “Sports Sponsorships,” as every FBS school is required to have a “minimum number of 16 varsity intercollegiate sports.”

The above quote from the article nails it.  However, the most important piece of the article is a copy of the actual letter itself with the request to relax the requirements which is located at the bottom of online article. 

Please share this with anyone you know who has been a part of collegiate athletics.  We need to get more names on this petition (team mates, parents and friends, alumni, etc) and make a statement that no sport should be cut especially during these most trying times.
