Greetings & Blessings Everyone!

This petition is very much alive and active. I recently followed up with Maritime Bus about adding a stop at the Monastery PetroCan. They shared that while they are keeping our request under consideration, timing issues prevent them from adding it right now to the existing bus route. If you are hesitant to support this initiative, I would like you to consider our neighbors, seniors, students, and families who are being left behind. Our recent summer festivals and homecomings made our transit gap painfully clear. Hundreds of visitors traveled to the Antigonish-Guysborough corridor, but the lack of public transit was a massive roadblock to many. Local families had to stress, scramble, and pay out of pocket just to get people around. No one should have to bear the financial burden of driving to Antigonish or Port Hawkesbury just to catch a bus. If we want to avoid these exact same transit headaches next summer, we have to stand together right now. We are currently at 700 signatures and need to hit 1,000 signatures to keep the pressure on Maritime Bus. How you can help right now?
