I can’t believe it. The man who I have called my father since I was a teenager has just been sentenced by a Cambodian court to serve another six years in jail for a crime he did not commit.

Dad is frail and sick and needs to be urgently evacuated to Australia, not thrown into a Cambodian cell on charges that are completely false.

I have promised him we will keep fighting, and I need to ask you to help me once more.

There is a new Foreign Minister – Marise Payne – who hasn’t made up her mind on James’ case yet.
