Thank you to those who have already called Prime Minister Turnbull’s office for this urgent intervention. My Dad’s life depends on it.
What I saw on Four Corners chilled me to the bone.
ABC's Four Corners ran a special on Cambodia, where my father rots in jail for flying a drone.
It's time for Australian politicians to stop drinking champagne and to leave their egos at home. Julie Bishop has repeatedly ignored my pleas to meet me to discuss my dad, respected film-maker journalist James Ricketson, who suffers daily in a cramped Cambodian jail.
Dad is elderly, there's no evidence of him committing any crime and he feels Australian politicians have turned their back on him.
Please call Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull's office today and ask him urgently to intervene.
Call his office on 02 6271 5111 and ask them to take note of your comments.
Please urge our Prime Minister not to let my innocent dad go to trial on August 16. Once he falls into the 'justice system' of Cambodia where everyone is found guilty, it might be too late and I am petrified I'll never see him again.
Please, please help me help my dad.
