I'm so upset - I've just found out my dad has to stay in a cramped, vermin-infested cell because he's been refused bail. This is urgent now - dad, 68, has been locked up for months on end and his health is suffering. He's been moved into a cell with 140 other prisoners and barely any sanitation or water. Julie Bishop hasn't said a word about it. Journalism isn't a crime - all dad has done is made award-winning documentaries, but he is a now a political prisoner on a ridiculous charge of so-called espionage (spying) as an Australian citizen.
