My father has been denied bail - yet still Julie Bishop isn't helping him

I'm so upset - I've just found out my dad has to stay in a cramped, vermin-infested cell because he's been refused bail. This is urgent now - dad, 68, has been locked up for months on end and his health is suffering. He's been moved into a cell with 140 other prisoners and barely any sanitation or water. Julie Bishop hasn't said a word about it. Journalism isn't a crime - all dad has done is made award-winning documentaries, but he is a now a political prisoner on a ridiculous charge of so-called espionage (spying) as an Australian citizen. Please urge Julie Bishop to meet me so she can look me in the eye and tell me what more she can do to help one of Australia's kindest citizens, who adopted me when I was most in need of compassion. I've asked her to meet me but she has ignored the request - your call could change that: Call her office on: (02) 6277 7500 Unless Julie Bishop sets the record straight - that dad isn't and never has been a spy nor employed by the Australian government, he'll rot in jail. Don't let the man who saved my life end up this way. It's not right.
