I am following up on your December 21 message to UCLA Chancellor Gene Block and others about access to Box 39 in the records of Dr. Ralph Greenson.  The message was forwarded to me to answer, so I am writing to let you know that the contents of Box 39 must remain closed until January 1, 2039 in order to comply with California privacy and publicity rights laws.
