We would like to thank all the people who have already signed our petition. We have worked hard to come up with a solution to stop other young people falling through the gaps in the system like we did. We do not want to complain that the system doesn't work - we want to make a difference and give a solution to stop this happening to people like us. That's why we are asking for a helpline. We have potential - some of us are going to college, university and work. We volunteer, we learn and we help those around us. When we recently went to London Jo Stevens MP listened to us and recognised our potential. She made us feel like we can make a difference and every single signature takes us one step closer to doing that. We were on the London Eye when the first signature from our friend Michael Sheen went on the petition, looking over London and the places that we think of as powerful. Jo Stevens MP, Michael Sheen, Change.org and every supporter made every young person in our group feel like they had an opportunity to make a difference and showed that you don't need to be a politician to make a change. As one of us in the group said "We've been homeless, we know what is needed. Let us be the experts and listen to us for once. You don't know what we can achieve until you give us this chance." Please ask everyone you know to sign. We need this helpline and we need your support. Help homeless young people thrive, not just survive! Thank you!
