Hi all,
To be quite honest, we are still in shock that Widlene is in Canada. The transition into a new culture has been pretty smooth for her.... quarantine in DR is pretty much the same as quarantine in Canada.
Over the next days, I will be informing all of our supporters of our next steps to ensure that no one ever has to endure what Widlene went through.
This is one of those updates.
We know that we cannot allow governments to continue to bully families. The first way to stop this is to speak openly and transparently. What happened to us was largely hidden by Immigration Canada through both unethical and illegal means. That story needs to be told. The first place I intend to tell it is through my latest podcast venture, "Mad as Hell."
I have teamed up with Priscilla Tang, a YouTuber and public policy expert in Toronto, to produce an investigative look at Canada's mess of an immigration system. NO HOLDS BARRED! NO CENSORS!
