At this point, the whole situation would be laughable if it wasn't so bloody tragic. On average, in the last 3 weeks, Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino has been approached by 3 members of Parliament per day, many of them fellow Liberals. He has met with me face to face and has been reached by over 20 media outlets. 

Just last Thursday, Immigration Critic, Peter Kent took most of his allotted time in a committee meeting to corner Mendicino with Widlene's case. Peter framed the question masterfully.
