RETURN THE ECO DOCK TO THE BAY RIDGE PIER

RETURN THE ECO DOCK TO THE BAY RIDGE PIER
The Issue
It has only been two to three years since the Eco-Dock was a small but darling little appendage to the Bay Ridge Pier. Supervised after-school programs and clubs were allowed to schedule use of the floating dock to allow small sailboats, fishing vessels, and commuter craft to quickly load in and load out mariners of all ages for a fun-filled day on the water.
The lonely gate with the NYC Parks Department leaf still remains as it only serves as a stark reminder to those who once enjoyed using it. But have faith! Access to the harbor is just a turn of the key away! New York Harbor Channel is committed to working with advocacy groups, the NYC Parks Department, and local businesses to make the Eco-Dock a reality again.
You can help by adding your name and e-signature to our online petition. Your name will allow us to move forward in hopes of opening up a world of possibilities for sailing, kayaking, fishing, ocean mammal sightings, educational science and marine biology pursuits, and everything else the harbor can offer to established organizations and clubs
Thank you for your time and see you on the water!
