1,5 M protest and hundreds injured by the police

Dear signatories, on the 14th of June, yesterday, 1,5 Millions people demonstrated against the new Labor Law in France and the whole country striked. There were terrible violence, 54 demonstrants arrested and lots of demonstrants injured in every city, two of them very seriously wounded. The day before, Home Office Minister, Cazeneuve, had enjoined the french police force for some self-control. But french police did as usual since more than two months: before anything happens, trying to split and divide the demonstration, scarring demonstrants with massive tear gaz and kettling, charging with no reason, beating demonstrants fallen to the ground, throwing stun granates on isolated people. This can in no way be justified by any window-break. The french police exerces a pityless repression, most probabely on behalf of the governement, against the own citizens, who are only protesting against a law. Prime Minister Valls, the day after the demonstration, warned the main worker's union (CGT) against the organisation of such a big demonstration once again, implying he would had to forbid it, giving "rioters" as a pretext to discredit the whole protest against the labor law. The french governement reaval hits authoritarian face every day a bit more. This is authoritarism and not compatible with a worthy democracy. We have to denunciate police violence everywhere. We have heard it happening yesterday in Austria too and want to express our solidarity with the activists. More than ever, we need self-information, alternative media and a very critical proof of the media story-telling : many witness statements and video attest from police violence, far beyond the fairy tale of the single "police response" to "rioters". Please help us to make the world aware of it. It's the only way we have left to make pressure on this authoritarian governement.
