Due to the nature of the case he was convicted of. Manny has suffered beat downs while handcuffed by both the correctional officers as well as other inmates. Manny personally asked me to write about this to put a time stamp on this email that will go out to everyone who has signed. He also wants to let you know how grateful he is for the letters and cards, they are actually helping to KEEP HIM SAFE as all correspondence is read by the officers and if you put in the letters that you hope the beat downs stop, the officers will read this and know that people are aware of what has happened to Manny while locked up and it will encourage them to think twice, so now it's officially on record that if anything happens to Manny while he's away before we can get him home.
