Kids 'soaked in violence'

This is my first time reading this article. MY HEART IS BROKE.... WE NEED METAL DETECTORS.. PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION.... MY MURDERED SON DID NOT BRING A KNIFE TO THE SCHOOL..... IT WAS BROUGHT TO A HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE PURPOSE TO MURDER MY SON.... RICH CULTURE BULLIES HIDING BEHIND ACADEMICS, MONEY AND ATHLETICS. The school was told about this TOXIC relationship and the culture issues MANY, MANY times over the years......BY ME!!!! "I think what we've seen is that kids are essentially soaked in violence. Whether it's through video games or violence in the media, it's a money-making juggernaut. Kids grow up learning how to solve conflict by using violence," Auty said. But as Auty points out, there's no reset button in real life. "It's too often you ask kids why did you do it. The big question is why. They have no understanding of why they did it, they just did it. Could they take it back? Would they take it back? Absolutely. But it's too late once it's happened," Auty said.
