A question from a friend as to what else can a Friend of Chumley's do at this point? If you have signed the Change.org petition and emailed the SLA Hearing officers in support*, there is nothing left to do but wait for the Hearing...we have, together, refuted the "antis" case very throughly. It is based on fear, speculation and outright lies. The SLA people are not fools. Again, thank everybody in the Barrow, Bedford, Commerce Block Association and all neighbors near and far for the steadfast support to reopen. Next Tuesday is the Ninth Anniversary of the wall collapse. Literally millions of dollars have been spent to keep all of us from having a beverage at 86 Bedford ever again. This is not about money.
