This petition was to 'Ban the Use of PFAs (Forever Chemicals) in Pet Food Packaging.' The Petition was accepted by the FDA on December 18, 2022. The Status is 'OPEN.'

There has been no action on this since we submitted it. I contacted them a few weeks ago, to call their attention to the fact that they wrongly posted it 'PFSs' in the Docket title, instead of 'PFAs'. They acknowledged that they received my email and said that it would be forwarded to the right person, but I have not heard from them since.

I would like to ask that you visit the webpage for the Mandy's Petition Docket. I don't know if they measure the web traffic a page receives, but in case they do, it might be helpful for there to be more visitors to the page.

Thank you for signing this important petition. Together, we may be able to help stop the FDA's permission for businesses to utilize PFAs in our pet's food (and ours). These chemicals are deadly.
