Honey Bee extinction is the evolving problem involving the numbers of Honeybees dropping in New Zealand. Honey Bee’s play a huge part in the sustainability of our clean environment, and their overall well-being plays a big part in our society. Honeybees perform about 80 percent of all pollination globally. The pollination process is vital to the prosperity and reproduction of our natural environment in New Zealand. And with Honeybees quickly falling into extinction, it puts our natural environment in grave danger.

There are many simple solutions that help contribute towards fixing the issue of honey bees falling into extinction in New Zealand. These solutions need to be advertised and made aware of, and why it is so important to help towards sustaining this dying species.

The main issue that needs to be fixed is Mandatory labels warning farmers about any pesticides that harm bees and other pollinators. This petition is aimed at making it illegal for pesticides not to be stated on the packaging.
