The reforms Chris Minns is now making to Childcare centres such as stronger protection laws, an independent regulator and CCTV cameras introduced into childcare centres for greater protection and greater transparency toward parents. These same reforms need to be made in all disabilities care and required of disability providers especially those with low quality care and given bigger fines to those who breach standards! Putting safety of those with disabilities over provider profits! While Pru Carr has made a report which is quickly being listened to by Minns especially in the wake of News media investigations there has been no such move by Ministers of Ndis past and present they have remained silent a d resistent to putting the safety of our most vulnerable children and persons first over provider profits! Perhaps the premier of each State should be doing this for disabilities as the ministers for NDIS have failed to implement any reforms in disabilities to protect the vulnerable and independently regulate in person disability providers!

Putting children first: Stronger laws, independent regulator among reforms to early childhood sector
The Minns Labor Government will strengthen laws, increase fines for poor quality operators and require the publication of safety and performance records, as part of an immediate package of reforms to improve transparency and rebuild trust in the early childhood education and care sector.
