

Thank you for signing my petition and letting you know we have reached 4701 signatures online now and nearly at the goal of 5000! Plus 50 signatures on paper. This is so exciting...also things are hotting up in the place where James was injured - the respite house.
Although the worker was moved and never questioned by the police...I demanded she be taken away from James as there was no evidence to prove she had hit James with no cameras, hence my petition...for all disability places...and my son is nonverbal...
Now suddenly the manager of the same respite house where James is still staying for respite a few days a month, that manager has suddenly been moved to an office and she was always at the respite house for at leasrt the last 10-15 years managing the respite house where James stayed and the girl in the office has been moved somewhere else...she was also working in the office when James was injured. Why are they moved now without even notifying the clients? Things are happening Investigations are occurring I believe.
Its a bit like the pedophile priests when people start investigating the priests are moved but never prosecuted or sacked. Organizations start trying to protect themselves from the law. No one will own up.
In James case I took his story of the injury to his head which I believe the worker did - to the Royal Commission at then end of 2019 investigating abuse and harm of disabilities people in care and then the virus interrupted the Royal commission.
However, now it has started up againf and it looks as though they are starting to reach into the organization where James was hurt and ask questions as suddenly the manager of the house left with no explanations and was moved to an office.
So great finally something is starting to happen in the place where James was hurt and it was covered up and never properly questioned by the police, even after taking a police statement from me and all the photos of James injury I gave them. The police renegged on questioning the worker - hence the need for cameras.
In previous day programs where James had his money was stolen and I reported them to the NDIS commission who did nothing, and to the fraud squad and the tax department. I took him out of that day program. I moved him to another day program.
Suddenly the manager of the day program we left (Dare Disability) moved elsewhere in the organization and the accountant left his job and that same previous manager of the day program is still moving around in that organization. The cover up is obvious. The people are moved but not caught and prosecuted and we need to change this.
We need cameras for evidence, we need changes to make stronger laws to protect disability children young or old especially if they are nonverbal and cannot defend themselves, so that those who harm them can be prosecuted and police have to investigate harm and neglect to the vulnerable. We also need a registry to put those who have hurt the vulnerable on a list of those who have done abuse or neglect, cannot then be employed with a disability organization again.
Thank you once again for your support and please share this petition with others on your facebook and other places. As numbers rise I will start moving toward media and already have journalist taking James story out as well as the Royal Commission knows what has happened.
You can also write to Stuart Robert about the need for Cameras, for your own disability child, although together on this petition will be great impact ultimately, and or join us in a protest later in year depending on the safety situation of course.
