I am thrilled to announce that we’ve received over 750 signatures on our petition in 4 days of it being shared. I wasn’t even able to post an update about reaching 500 signatures because this garnered so much support so quickly.

The good news is Management and Ownership has heard our voices and has reached out to start a conversation about this important issue. I’ve had many conversation with the various stakeholders involved: Shareholders, Community Advocates, Members, Salaried Staff, and Hourly Employees. These are the 5 stakeholders that Touchstone has outlined that they are concerned about striking a balance with and these are the stakeholders that need to know that the employees want a better wage. Front Desk Staff, Route Setters, Coaches, Belay Staff, Janitorial Staff, Construction Crew, Team Leads, even Managers and Shareholders want there to be negotiations for there to be a fair resolution to this issue that’s supports the needs of all those involved. Currently the overwhelming voice of the hourly staff and now the membership is there needs to be more negotiations for a fair and equitable Touchstone. 

Please keep supporting this petition and continuing the conversation because as it stands we are not satisfied with Touchstone’s current business as usual. But we have hope and we believe that the future we all envision is quickly approaching and a common solution will be negotiated in the coming weeks and months. Until then, we will keep spreading awareness and we will keep talking to one another.
