The New York City Housing Preservation and Development thinks that the housing code in this city is a mere suggestion, and that our tax dollars actually are funding their salaries so that they can ignore hazardous violations as they reach disastrous levels.

The New York City Housing Preservation and Development thinks that after the situation has hit such a catastrophic point.. it’s on us to spend our hard-earned money on litigating against multimillionaires who make their fortunes stomping on the rights of New Yorkers. Why fund this program at all if they’re showing no interest in enforcing the very thing their department is funded by us to enforce.
