Current laws protect only the policy holder from unfair claims practices. A totaled car results in low ball  offers. Insurance companies have no problem using techniques that are designed to reduce payments and cause undue financial loss and try to use time to get you to agree to lower settlements. We plan to make insurance companies treat everyone fairly and if they dont then punitive damages and penalties would be imposed making them more likely to follow proper procedures and treat a person harmed by their insured with respect and dignity. This effects millions of people every year. Lets change a bias law.
