Guys and gals we've made 100 signatures! It's enough to formally take to an MP but let's keep this momentum going! This is happening across Canada everyday and it's wrong. 

People are getting more time for crimes with lesser impacts such as insurance fraud, drugs, shoplifting and more. Sexual assault is a life sentence for us survivors and I'm not asking much more than sexual assault being treated more seriously by the law! 

Domestic violence and femicide are real issues but no one discusses the details about the violence which oftentimes includes sexual violence against the "victim" partner. 

I used quotes for victim because I prefer to believe I'm a survivor not a victim and every other person who has been sexually assaulted is also a survivor.
