Aussies,
The Ombudsman has been requested by Andrew Wilkie MP to investigate Centrelinks Debt Recovery; http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/commonwealth-ombudsman-launches-centrelink-investigation-20170109-gto6h4.html
This is a major first step in having the system suspended and matters reversed.
We've also hit 50 thousand signatories within a week! That's an amazing number of signatures due to the number of letters that have gone out (169,000). Effectively it means that a third of all Letters may have had issues, not the 20% the government is stating.
There's also further evidence that people are paying in order to prevent a Credit Rating hit. To those people, stand up for yourselves.
Lodge a complaint, contact your local MP and the Ombudsman. Don't remain silent under the pretext that it's too much effort, to hard to deal with or too time consuming. Your voice added to the hundreds, if not thousands of people out there will make sure we're all heard!
Keep safe, stay sane and be polite on the phones!
