The Federal Government is calling for submissions into an inquiry on Age Verification for online pornography. As a dad and someone that deals with the effects of childhood exposure to porn, I care greatly about this topic and how it affects Australian families. 

Porn use has been shown to be higher in Australian children than in most countries. Research has shown a dramatic increase in porn consumption by boys and a continued decline in the age of the first exposer to porn. Along with this, there has been a corresponding increase in Child-on-child sexual abuse.

We must TAKE ACTION NOW and make a submission to the government. As a supporter of this petition, this is a significant step in the right direction.

Here are two ways you can make a submission.
 
Via the official inquiry webpage (close date, Friday October 25)
Via eChildhood – a simplified survey template with prompts (this option closes on Wednesday 23 October). eChildhood is a great organisation I've come across that you might like to follow.
