I would like to start this update off with a huge thank you to you all. Without your comments and signatures this wouldn't have been possible. Last week I was set to do an interview with The Age. I had photos taken and all. And there was the potential to have a tv interview with the Today show. BUT before the article could be printed I received a phone call from my Oncologist. He gave me the great news that the Zoladex needle is now on the PBS. He said the oncology board decided that was time and placed it effective immediately on the PBS. We're not sure whether they knew about the petition or not but it's a coincidence that it was now. When I started on the needle back in January I was told there were no plans for it to be on the PBS. Either way the outcome is great. Not only for me but for every women in Australia... Again I thank you all for your signatures and helping to get this great outcome Lisa
