Help present Syria petition to Australian Parliament

Since the Citizens Electoral Council launched its petition, "Australia must get out of Syria", events in Syria have escalated. The same media companies that breathlessly reported the danger of Saddam's WMDs, so the public would support the invasion of Iraq, have ramped up their disinformation campaign about Syria, to justify a full-scale intervention by the USA and UK, and of course good ol' Australia. Some American and British politicians have started calling for a no-fly zone, which is how they turned the 2011 intervention in Libya into a regime change operation; in Syria, however, it is very dangerous, because it will bring aircraft from the US-led Coalition into direct conflict with Russian aircraft. Meanwhile, the Russian and Syria are close to driving al-Qaeda's Syrian branch al-Nusra out of Aleppo. To increase the heat on Australian MPs and the government, so they don't blindly follow along behind the USA and UK and involve Australia in a dangerous escalation, but instead withdraw our country's support, the CEC will table a physical version of the petition in the federal parliament during the last sitting week of the year in late November. The physical petition is worded the same as the change.org version, but it will be formally entered into the Parliamentary record. You can help: * Add your name to the physical petition.
