Dear supporters, 

Thank you so much for supporting my petition till Dr Darell Leiking arranged a meeting between me and his ministry on 14th of May 2019. Based on the outcome of the meeting, it is revealed that the PH government are so into the Third National car project. Even though PH ministers are really looking forward to abolish/reduction in excise duties, Tun M as usual you cannot say no to whatever he says. So they are going to protect the local automotive industry for the next few years like how Japan did to their automotive industry. They did admit that previous government abused Proton and now they are saying new government are changing their ideas on how to make the local industry more competitive. They will protect the local industry till they become successful on global arena. For now they has asked me to make a move with Minister of Finance(MOF) since the excise duties falls under their department and also with Malaysia Automotive Association(MAA) together with Malaysian Investment Development authority(MIDA) who overseas and drive investment into the manufacturing and service sector.

So guys for now I am going to make some changes with the petition based on the outcome and expect the updated petition within the next two days. I am not going to give up the cause of the petition and I will make sure whatever obstacles that I am facing to make the government abolish the excise duties. Remember guys this is not something new as PKR has promised us way back in 2012 when they were in opposition. I have attach the image for the #KEMPEN TURUN HARGA KERETA by Rafizi Ramli. For now I am only reminding the PH government to pledge their promises when they were in opposition. You may ask why am I talking about GE13 promises but this is the tool they used to woo the young voters and they won the popular votes in GE13. So guys please keep sharing the petition and make it viral. The problem now is as of now there are only 1,298 supporters which is low compared to other petition. I need to make the petition hit to 10000 supporters. So please make it viral and if possible promote the petition as much as you can. Chip in some donation to promote the petition in Change.org.
