Things you can do whilst waiting

As you know, our main goal is to make Facebook, Instagram and Twitter include a specific box for sharing pronouns on our profiles. This makes transgender people feel safe and it celebrates allyship.

This isn't the only thing we can do to make transgender people feel safe and celebrate allyship.

Whilst we wait for victory, here are some things you can do:

  1. Share this petition on your social media platforms
  2. Send this petition to your friends and family
  3. Put your pronouns in your bio (if you haven't already)
  4. Learn about non-binary identities
  5. Learn about neopronouns
  6. Share statistics to your social media platforms
  7. Follow transgender creators on social media

Transgender people shouldn't need a designated day of visibility - make it every day until they don't need it anymore.

On a more personal note, I updated my 'Trans Pride' effect on Instagram today. Find it on my profile @archiemuirr. I've attached a video showing you how to use it.
